MMHS-Multicultural Mental Health Services

MMHS was founded in 2022 by Lucero Steele an independent Marriage & Family Therapist. MMHS mission is to provide in-depth mental health services for the black and brown communities. In addition to helping all ethnicities because of the historically mental health stigma, needs and support in Madison, WI and its surrounding communities.

MMHS focus area is working systemically with children, adults and families which we know the importance of not only focusing on them but rather the other intersections of the person's life including culture, spiritual beliefs, support systems, needs, goals and strengths. MMHS has a strong passion for working with people with diverse backgrounds and know the importance of how one's beliefs and values play a big part of their daily lives, health and mental well being.
